CM Nitish Kumar will file nomination today for the biennial elections of the Legislative Council, the tenure of these leaders including Rabri is ending.

 Notification was issued on Monday for the biennial elections of the Legislative Council. Under this, elections are to be held for 11 seats under the assembly quota. JDU is getting two seats as per its numbers. The tenure of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is also ending. Due to going on a foreign trip, the Chief Minister will file his nomination papers for this election on Tuesday itself.

Due to going on a foreign trip, the Chief Minister will file his nomination papers for this election on Tuesday itself. Along with him, Khalid Anwar will also file nomination as JDU candidate. His tenure is also coming to an end. Those from RJD whose tenure is ending include Rabri Devi and Dr. Ramchandra Purve.

The tenure of BJP's Shahnawaz Hussain, Mangal Pandey and Sanjay Paswan is ending. State cabinet member and our leader Santosh Kumar Suman will also file nomination as NDA candidate. His tenure is also ending. Similarly, Premchandra Mishra of Congress is also completing his tenure.

BJP, RJD and Congress have not yet announced the names of their candidates. By the way, Rabri Devi's name is fixed from RJD. The last date for nomination is March 11. The voting date for the elections is March 21. The result is to be declared late evening on 21st March itself.
